To provide transport support to all the students irrespective of their gender who secured meritorious marks in their class 10th and 12th, the Government of Madhya Pradesh has introduced a new scheme known as “MP Scooty Yojana 2025” in the state to provide electric as well as petrol-rich scooties to selected students as per their choice and preferences. Through introducing free e-scooties government aims to reduce the petrol filling burden on students and reduce air pollution caused due to petrol-rich vehicles in the state.
This scheme was first announced by the Ex-Chief Minister in the budget of 2023-24 with the name Mukhyamantri Girls Scooty Scheme, but after the election, the newly made Chief Minister has removed the gender restrictions on this scheme and renamed it as the Mukhyamantri Scooty Scheme to enhance the involvement of both girl and boy students in the state.

The “MP CM Scooty Scheme” is a state-oriented scooty distribution program introduced by the state government of Madhya Pradesh for all the students who qualified their class 12th with excellent marks as a gift to them. Under this scheme government provides free scooties to selected students irrespective of their gender, ensuring that they can save a scooty gift as a reward according to their performance in class 12th. This scheme encourages them to become more independent and active in their studies without any dependence on others and to manage their regular transport expenses on their own.

Objective of MP Free Scooty Yojana
The main objective of this scheme is to offer free scooties to both meritorious girl and boy students who secure 75% or more marks in their class 12th. All the students who are studying in a government school in the state can apply for this, and there is no restriction on gender; both can apply. According to the reports government provides scooty benefits to about 7,900 students in the state.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the MP scooty applicant must meet to follow the following eligibility requirements:-
- Applicant must be a permanent resident of Madhya Pradesh.
- Applicant must be a student by occupation.
- Applicant must be a government school student.
- Applicant must be a student who has secured meritorious marks in class 12th.
- Applicant must have a bank account linked to an Aadhaar card.

- Announcement Year:- According to the reports, this scheme was first announced by former Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chauhan in the budget for the year 2023-24.
- Max Marks Required:- In this scheme applicant must have to obtain a minimum of 75% in the class 12th examination.
- Distribution Starts:- The newly made chief minister, Mr. Mohan Yadav, has started the scooty distribution process on February 5, 2025, to eligible meritorious students.
- Applicable to Both:- According to the reports earlier, the benefits of this scheme were limited only to girl students, but the current chief minister has decided to give the benefit of this scheme to both the meritorious girl and boy students, due to which it name has been changed from Chief Minister Girl Scooty Scheme to Chief Minister Scooty Scheme.

- The Government of Madhya Pradesh has not officially released the application process anywhere for this scheme, so it is expected that the application form for this scheme will be filled out by the student’s School management.
- So all the students who wish to apply for the free Scooty scheme need to contact their school for the application form.
- After contacting the applicant need to give their details to their school management.
- As the applicant provided all the details, the list of eligible students will be prepared by the nodal department with the help of the application received from the school management.

Sometimes, due to some reasons, the government is not able to give you the scooter and instead credits the Subsidy amount to your bank account.
You can check the payment status through your nearest bank branch by using the process below:-
- Visit Nearest Bank Branch:- First of all applicant needs to visit the local bank branch to check the status of their payment.
- Ask For Official:- Once the applicant reaches the bank branch, and need to ask for the application status from the concerned officer.
- Provide Details:- After that applicant needs to provide all the relevant details to the officer to check the condition of your payment.

Search Payment Status Through PFMS
To search your payment status online through the PFMS Portal, follow these steps:-
- Visit the official PFMS Portal.
- Once the applicant reaches the homepage of the official website, they need to log in by entering their details.
- After logging in, the applicant needs to click on the “Know Payment Status”
- As the applicant clicks, a new Status Dashboard will appear on the desktop screen.
- Now the applicant needs to enter the ask details and click on the option called Get OTP.
- As the applicant clicks, a One-Time Password will be triggered on the registered mobile number.
- Now, the applicant needs to fill out the OTP and then click on the “Search”
