Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the free laptop scheme, applicants need to meet the following eligibility requirements as listed below:-
- Applicant must be a permanent resident of Gujarat.
- Applicant must be a student.
- Applicant must be a student who has passed their class 12th with a minimum of 70% or more.
- Applicant must be admitted to any professional or design course.
- Applicants who are children of workers employed in the factory Institute within the state of Gujarat and have been contributing to the labour welfare fund for at least one year at the local office are also eligible to apply for a free laptop for their children.
- The age of the applying student must be between 18-25 years.
- Under this scheme, priority will be given to those students who belong to the poor middle class and rural areas in the state.
- The annual income of the applying student’s family must be less than Rs 1 lakh from all sources of income
