On 10th March, the state government of Assam, with finance minister Mr. Ajnata Neog, has set up a total budget of INR 25 crore for the successful implementation of this scheme in the state. Under this scheme, selected beneficiaries receive financial assistance of INR 2500, and extensive support in the form of a one-time grant of INR 25,000 will be given to research scholars, and they will be credited directly into their bank accounts.
