This scheme is only available for those citizens whose family annual income is less than Rs 10 lakh and who belong to the economically weaker sections of society. Under this scheme, DDA offers 1,172 economically weaker sections (EWS) and Janta category flats in Outer Delhi.

DDA offers a total of 672 flats to EWS category citizens, the highest in one location, with prices ranging from Rs 9.18 lakh to Rs 27.86 lakh, and plinth areas ranging from 34.76 sq m to 61.99 sq m. In Rohini, 97 Janta category flats are on offer starting from Rs 14.59 lakh, with plinth areas ranging from 28 sq m to 28.81 sq m. At Loknayakpuram, 108 EWS flats are being offered in sizes ranging from 55.35 sq m to 61.17 sq m, which are priced between Rs 29.6 and Rs 32.62 lakh.

The main objective of this scheme is to provide affordable housing options at reasonable rates on a first-come, first-served basis, ensuring that only deserving candidates can get the benefits of this scheme before the deadline. This scheme is only available for those citizens whose family annual income is less than Rs 10 lakh and who belong to the economically weaker sections of society.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for Jan Sadharan, the applicant needs to clear the following eligibility criteria, as mentioned below:-

  • Applicant must be a permanent resident of Delhi.
  • Applicant must belong to the EWS category.
  • The age of the applying applicant’s age must be more than 18 years at the last date of submission of the application and legally completed to enter into a contract.
  • Applicant must have given particulars of his/her savings account in any bank in the name of the applicant only in the application form.
  • Applicant must have a Permanent Account Number (PAN) allotted under the provisions of the Income Tax Act, and the same must be quoted in the application form.
  • The annual income of the applying candidate’s family must not be more than Rs 10 lakh per annum from all sources of income.
  • Note:- In case of joint application under a person with disabilities (Divyangjan), the applicant himself/herself should fall within the reserve category and the joint applicant/co-applicant should be from within the family.
  • It is advisable that the co-allottee, if any, may preferably be added at the application stage rather than at a later stage for easy processing.

How to Register for DDA Jan Sadharan Awaas Yojana 2025?

To apply for the housing scheme, follow these steps:-

  • Visit Official DDA Website:- Firstly, all the applicants who are interested in applying for Jan Sadharan Yojana need to go to the official DDA website to register online.
  • Login By Using PAN & Other Details:- Once the applicant reaches the homepage of the official website, they need to click on the DDA Jan Sadharan Awas Yojana 2025 (FCFS) option present at the top.
  • Create Login:- After that, the applicant needs to click on the option calledCreate Login”.
  • Registration Form Open:- As the candidate clicks, a registration form will appear on the screen.

  • Fill Out the Form:- Now the applicant needs to enter all the details that are asked for, such as Name, DOB, Email ID, Gender, Mobile Number, PAN Number, and Aadhar Number in the given space.
  • Request OTP:- Now, click on the “Request OTP” button, and as the applicant clicks, a One Time Password will be triggered on the registered mobile number.
  • Enter OTP:- Now enter the OTP in the given box.
  • Check Details:- Quickly review all the details carefully.
  • Submit the Application:- At last, hit the Submit button to complete the process.
  • Pay Registration Fee:- After that, the applicant needs to log in with the same and register themselves for DDA Jan Sadharan Awas Yojana 2025 (FCFS) by paying a sum of Rs 2,500/- (inclusive of GST).

NOTE:- Please note that this amount is to be paid online and is non-refundable. The registration opens with effect from 11 September 2025. Those applicants who have already registered themselves in FCFS need not register again.
