Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for CG Berojgari Bhatta Yojana, applicant needs to clear the following eligibility requirements and these are as follows:-
- Applicant must be a permanent resident of Chhattisgarh.
- Applicant must be an unemployed woman resident of the state.
- Applicant must have passed the minimum higher secondary (12th) examination from a recognized board.
- Age of the applying applicant must be between 18-40 years of age at the time of application.
- Applicant must not be enrolled in government or private jobs.
- Annual income of the applying candidate’s family must be less than Rs 2.50 lakh per annum from all sources.
Exclusion Criteria
- Males are ineligible to apply for the same.
- Any member of the applicant’s family shall be ineligible for unemployment allowance if any member of the applicant is in a job of any category other than Class IV or Group D in any institution of the Central or State Government or local body.
- If the applicant is offered a job offer in the government or private sector, but the applicant does not accept the offer, then such an applicant will be ineligible for unemployment allowance.
- Former and present Ministers, Ministers of State, and former or present members of Parliament or State Legislative Assemblies, former and present Mayors of Municipal Corporations, and family members of the former and present Chairman of the District Panchayats shall be ineligible for unemployment allowance.
- The family members of pensioners who receive a monthly pension of Rs 10,000 or more will be ineligible for unemployment allowance.
- The family members of families who have paid income tax in the last assessment year will be ineligible for unemployment allowance.
- Other professionals like engineers, doctors, lawyers, chartered accountants, and family members of the architects registered with professional bodies will be ineligible for unemployment allowance.
- Annual income of the applying candidate’s family of more than Rs 2.50 lakh per annum is ineligible to apply.
