On Friday, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi officially launched the Bihar CM Mahila Rojgar Yojana through video conferencing from Delhi in the presence of CM Nitish Kumar and Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary from Patna, and apart from Jeevika Didi at the district and block level.
According to the latest trend, the program was initially scheduled for September 22, with only Chief Minister Nitish Kumar selected to distribute the funds, but after suggestions of a senior Bihar BJP leader, in view of the election year, Prime Minister’s participation in a stronger message on women empowerment, this event was subsequently arranged for September 26.
At this event, Prime Minister Narendra Modi from Delhi has transferred directly the funds of Rs 7,500 crore into the bank accounts of a total of 75 lakh women across the state with total financial assistance of Rs 10,000 each.
