What is Haryana Deen Dayal Parivar Suraksha Yojana 2025?
The Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Antyodaya Parivar Suraksha is a Family Security Scheme launched by the government of Haryana for the residents of this state. Under this, the government provides financial assistance only in case of death, natural or accidental, or permanent disability, and with respect to a member of a family having an annual income less than Rs 1.8 lakh as verified in the family information data depository (FIDR) database.
This scheme consists of two phases. In the first phase, the government provides financial assistance to individuals who suffer death or permanent disability due to an accident or natural causes. On the other hand, the second phase provides benefits to those who are dead or suffering from permanent disability due to accidents involving stray cattle or dog bites. This scheme also includes an amount of Rs. 2 lakh provided under the Prime Minister Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana and Prime Minister Suraksha Bima Yojana.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the DAYALU Scheme, an applicant must meet the following eligibility criteria, as mentioned below:-

- Applicant must have suffered accidental death or permanent disability of 70% or above due to a stray Cattle/animal bite.
- The applicant must file a claim within 3 months of the accident.
- Age of the applicant must be above the age of 6 year and up to the age of 60 years.
- Applicant must have a Family ID / Parivar Pehchan Patra PPP number.
- Annual income of the applicant’s family must be less than Rs 1.8 lakh as verified in the family information data depository FIDR database.

- First Launched Year:- The Haryana government planning department launched the DAYALU in the financial year 2023 24, with the scheme becoming effective from April 1, 2023, which provides financial assistance to families with low income.

- The home page will open on the screen.
- Now the applicant needs to locate and click on the “Apply Scheme“
- As the applicant clicks, a registration page will open on the screen.
- Now the applicant needs to select the type of DAYALU and then enter the Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) number in the given space.
- After that, click on the Get OTP
- As the applicant clicks, a one-time password will be triggered on the registered mobile number
