About Telangana Rajiv Yuva Vikasam Scheme 2025
The “Telangana Rajiv Yuva Vikasam” is a state-specific guaranteed scheme launched by the Government of Telangana for the welfare of unemployed youth by providing employment opportunities to them so that they can start their own business without any dependence on others and become self-reliant and independent in the state. This schema was first announced by Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on 12th March 2025 under one of the six schemes announced during the state assembly elections.
Under this scheme government targets to provide employment options to a total of 5 lakh youths struggling with unemployment. Through the help of this scheme government aims to foster entrepreneurship and economic growth of youth from minority groups. Under this scheme government encourages youths to avail concessional loans for up to Rs 3 lakh along with subsidies to establish their own ventures and reduce the rate of unemployment in the state.

Under this scheme, the state government of Telangana has allocated a total of Rs. 6000 crore as a budget for the effective implementation of the scheme in the state, ensuring that no unemployed youth is deprived of receiving employment opportunities from the government through the help of this scheme and significantly reducing the rate of unemployment in the state.

Purpose of Rajiv Yuva Vikas Scheme
The main purpose of this scheme is to provide self-employment opportunities to young people of the state by providing subsidized loans to them, and the amount will be disbursed among youth according to the unit cost of the business activity in which they are interested in opening for self-employment. Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scheme applicant needs to clear the eligibility criteria:-
- Applicant must be a permanent resident of Telangana.
- Applicant must be a young youth of the state.
- Applicant must be an unemployed youth of the state.
- Applicant must belong to SC, ST, BC, and Minority groups in the state.
- Applicant must have an Aadhar-linked bank account.
- Annual income of youth from ruler and urban areas must be less than Rs 1.5 Lakh in rural areas and Rs. 2 Lakh in urban areas, respectively.
