Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for PMKSN, applicant needs to meet the following eligibility criteria’s these are as follows:-
- Applicant must be a permanent resident of India.
- Applicant must be a farmer by profession.
- Applicant must have land in their own name.
- Applicant must have their own bank account linked with an Aadhar card.
Exclusion Criteria
- Applicants less than 18 years of age are ineligible.
- Large farmers are not able to apply.
- The farmer or his /her spouse /family member, an income taxpayer/Government/PSU sector employee/other agency, including retired staff/pensioners
- Former and present holders of constitutional posts, former and present Ministers / State Ministers, and former/present Members of Lok Sabha / Rajya Sabha / State Legislative Assemblies /State Legislative Councils, former and present Mayors of Municipal Corporations, and former and present Chairpersons of District Panchayats.
- Professionals like Doctors, Engineers, Lawyers, Chartered Accountants, and Architects registered with any Professional bodies are ineligible to apply.
- Farmers not having a valid ration card are ineligible.
- Applicants enrolled in any other government scheme are unable to apply for the same.
- Applicant doesn’t have their own bank account seeded with an Aadhar card.
